Recruiting: Milsap Likes What He Sees At OSU

The result of Saturday's game was not what Oklahoma State wanted but they were entertaining one official recruiting visitor this weekend and it did not appear to put a damper on the trip. Du'Von Milsap, a 6-6, 315-pound offensive line prospect from Buford, Ga., is a load and he liked what he saw in Stillwater. Milsap, already home from his visit Sunday, said the Cowboys impressed him.

"It went great," said Milsap of the trip. "I loved it out there. The facilities were the best. The weight room, the locker room, everything was state-of-the-art. It was amazing and I could see being there."

Milsap went to dinner on Saturday after the game with the contingent of his recruiting coach, Robert Matthews and his wife, offensive line coach Joe Wickline, his player host Nigel Nicholas, and tight end Wilson Youman.

"They are all good people. My relationship with Coach Matthews is going good," added Millsap.

As for his season, Millap said his Buford team has a bye this week after winning their first two games before losing to Atlanta private school power Lovett School on Friday night for their first loss. "We are playing good," added Milsap.

The big offensive guard, who also has the attributes to play tackle, said he is also being recruited heavily by South Carolina and Mississippi. He does not have any visits scheduled to the other two schools right now.

He also added that does not have a timetable for making a decision or a commitment on a school. He also has not decided what he wants to major in academically in college. He did say he would keep us posted if anything happens or changes with his recruiting.
