Littlehead: 'I'm Going To Be A Cowboy'

Chris Littlehead is not the type of person you want to make mad. If you don't believe me, just ask the offensive linemen who have tried to cut-block him this season. Or better yet, just ask the 6-foot-3, 305-pound standout lineman about the rumors that he's going to switch his commitment from Oklahoma State to Oklahoma if the Sooners decide to make an offer.

The two-day lineman from Tahlequah (Sequoyah), Okla., has heard the rumors that he is considering switching his commitment to Oklahoma.

"No, it's been really (ticking) me off because I'm not going to do that at all," Littlehead said when asked about the rumors. "I didn't even tell that guy any of that. I don't know where he got any of that. It ticks me off."

So, just to make sure we understand correctly, is Littlehead still committed to Oklahoma State? "Yes, sir. I don't know where that guy got that from that if OU offers I'm going to de-commit. I'm not de-committing at all.

"I'm going to be a Cowboy."

As a matter of fact, Littlehead said that he believes that OSU head coach Mike Gundy and defensive coordinator Bill Young will be attending Tahlequah Sequouah's game Friday night at Keys.

"I haven't heard from Coach Young this week but I think Coach Young and Coach Gundy are going to be at the game Friday. That's what he told me last week," says Littlehead.

How does Littlehead feel about the OSU coaches making the trip to watch him in person. "It gets me a little excited when they say they're going to come watch me. It doesn't really make me nervous. I'm just going to try to treat it like a regular game," he says.
