"It was real good. I really liked it and had a good time," said Stephens as the flight attendant was going over emergency instructions in the background. "I really liked hanging out with the players and getting to know them."

Stephens said OSU freshman Andrae May, a teammate of his at North Shore High School, was his host for the weekend visit.

While he enjoyed getting to know his future teammates, and spending time with them, Stephens said it was also beneficial to visit with the Cowboy defensive coaches. "I talked a lot with Coach (Jason) Jones, and he also talked some with my family," said Stephens.

Were there any surprises on the trip? "No, not really. I just really liked it," he said.

Stephens said the weekend just reinforced the decision he made last April when he initially gave his verbal commitment to the Cowboys. "Yes, sir, I'll be signing with Oklahoma State in a couple of weeks," he said.

With that, Stephens said he had to get off the telephone as his airplane was preparing for his flight back to Houston. Cowboy Commitments
