Williams is on the go this weekend in recruiting, but he also still has fond feeling from his first on campus stop on February 20th at Oklahoma State.
"Oh yes, I think about Oklahoma State a lot," said Williams. "I really liked what I saw up there and I liked the way they treated me and I am going to take that into account when I make my decision. This weekend I am going to Tulsa and OU on Saturday and Sunday. I've been hearing a lot from TCU."
Williams is 5-8, 170 pounds and truly runs a sub 4.5 in the forty. He is in the midst of preparing for track season where he competes in the 4x100 and 4x200 meter relays. He also runs the 200 meters for Martin.
Williams is spending a lot of time thinking about recruiting and knows what his criteria is for choosing a school. Oklahoma State, along with the schools he is visiting this weekend, seem to fit.
"The location is important," started Williams. "I want to be away from home for school, but I don't want it to be too far away. Out of the North Texas area but not across the country.
"I need to be comfortable with where I am living because it will be for the next four years. One of the other factors is I really want to play as a true freshman. I know I want to major in sports management."
Williams doesn't seem to be eminent in making a decision, although he already talks about the process, so he has it in gear. That's a good term for Williams, since he seems to have plenty of gears on the field and on the track oval.
