OSU Football: Guess The Recruiting Class

Okay, we'll try this again. We actually did pretty good last year by getting 18 members of the 2010 recruiting class correct. We actually begin attempting to narrow down the 2011 class with more of a head start than we did early last summer as Oklahoma State head coach Mike Gundy and his staff already have six commitments on the board (compared to just five a year ago).

Please remember this, it is still very early in the process and while many prospects are on the board and are known throughout the Internet and with popular recruiting services, there are also prospects that will emerge during the May evaluation period when coaches are on the road and in camps this summer. It always happens and the coaching staffs that aren't locked into lists will keep an open mind and will find those diamonds that haven't had their shine revealed.

Here are the rules for our process here. We get no credit for the previous commitments, although I think we should get credit for Michael Bowie, since we broke that commitment two years ago when he pledged out of Sand Springs Charles Page High School.

We will list these categories: previous commitments, players that committed that we projected, players that committed that we once projected, and players that committed that we did not project.

For now we will predict that Oklahoma State will recruit and sign 21 players for the 2011 class, although that can change based on retention of current players on the roster. We will also break down how many players we project at each position.
