"I'm still committed to TCU and in the end it will most likely be TCU that I decide on. They are still number one, but it will be one of those three (schools)."
White's other offers include Arizona, Texas A&M, Houston, Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Tulsa, and Virginia. One of the aspects of White's recruiting that caught a lot of attention is his recent friendship with former Oklahoma State wide receiver and now Dallas Cowboys number-one draft pick Dez Bryant.
"Oh Dez Bryant, he comes up to the school to work out some at DeSoto and I know his God-sister," said White. "It is very cool and we talk and he tells me what it's like in college, why I should go to a certain school, tells me about the schools, about OSU and everything that he did there.
"He was talking up Oklahoma State and their state, but I look up the stats myself. TCU's passing held up against Oklahoma State and Texas Tech. I don't necessarily listen to all that stuff he says, but I listen to some of it.
"He told me he reminds me a lot of him when he left and went to college at Oklahoma State," continued White. "He told me I remind of himself in my size and he also saw me running routes and said we were a lot alike. He said he can see me going to college and then coming out and playing in the NFL."
We asked White if Bryant gave him any pointers about technique or route running or catching the ball? "Nothing really about all that," said White. "He did talk about catching tennis balls to help your grip and running in the pool to help your speed. He also talked about eating good in order to get bigger, doing it the right way."
White said in the end it will be real simple for him. He plans to take his official visits during the season since they are all relatively close by and he would get to see each of the teams in action.
"I will visit those three (TCU, Oklahoma State and Texas Tech) and then mid-season I will make my pick after I've taken the visits," said White summing it up.
