STILLWATER - Following a fifth straight really heated morning workout on Thursday, an Oklahoma State spokesperson reported that head coach Mike Gundy told his team he was proud of the way they had worked through the heat and was more encouraged by his team after a week of practices. Then Gundy told his team there would be no Friday morning practice as scheduled, and they could sleep in.
Gundy informed his team after meetings on Thursday that there would be no Friday morning practice, which was the first of two scheduled for the day.
Instead, Oklahoma State will work out once on Friday at 5:50 p.m., leading up to a late Saturday afternoon scrimmage.
Friday's afternoon workout will be the eighth of the allotted 29 practices that you are allowed by the NCAA before the first game.
