Wilson Appears Headed to Indiana

What started out as a morning with offensive coordinator Kevin Wilson headed to Indianapolis to interview for the Indiana Hoosiers' head coaching position has apparently ended with the Sooners about to lose a key member of their coaching staff.

Wilson returned to Norman around 5:45 p.m. and told reporters that "nothing's final yet," but things have supposedly changed since.

He will be named the head coach of the Hoosiers at 4 p.m. Tuesday, according to The Indianapolis Star.

The Sooner offensive coordinator will take over for Bill Lynch, who was relieved of his duties after their last game against the Purdue Boilermakers Nov. 28.

That will leave OU with a vacancy at the coordinator position, which will most likely be filled by quarterbacks coach Josh Heupel or wide receivers coach Jay Norvell, or a co-coordinator position between the two.
