One-on-One Visit for Jones

Sooners Illustrated caught up with Cayleb Jones, 2012 four-star wide receiver out of Austin HS to see if he would be attending Oklahoma's upcoming junior day. Check below to see what the talented receiver prospect had to say.

January 30th marks the day of Oklahoma's second junior day for the 2012 recruiting class. The Sooners sent out multiple invites to prospects they have either offered or are evaluating to see if they will offer and should have a nice turnout of talented prospects come Sunday.

The 6-foot-2 and 185-pound Cayleb Jones has already received a verbal offer from the Sooners as well as an invite to attend the upcoming junior day. Jones on the other hand will not be able to make it to the junior day but has already decided on when he will be able to make it to Norman.

And the visit may be even more beneficial for him and the Sooners efforts to land him, because it looks like he will be coming in to spend some alone time with the staff.

"Yes," Jones said when asked if he received an invite.

"But no I'm not coming. I will be attending the OU practice the week before the spring game."

Even though it sounds like bad news that he will not make it Sunday it does sound positive that he has already decided when to make it up to check out the Sooners in Norman.

Jones appears to be the number one receiver prospect in the state of Texas for the 2012 recruiting class who ended his junior season with 62-catches for 797-yards and five-touchdowns while missing two-games during the year.
