RECRUITING: Kansas OL likes four early

Kansas offensive lineman Matt Boss talks about his interest in Oklahoma

Matt is going to be a rare four-year starter, who has played both guard and tackle thus far in high school.

"I will play anywhere along the offensive line in college," said Boss. "I just want to play and feel I can play any position in the offensive line. I feel I can run block and pass block about the same, so I think I can play anywhere along the offensive line."

Boss can bench 355 pounds, squats 525 and he has a 29-inch vertical jump. Boss went to the Kansas State and Kansas one-day camp and Boss went to Kansas State's junior camp. He has been offered by Kansas State, Kansas and Kentucky.

"I really like Kansas State, OU, OSU and Kansas," said Boss. "Kansas State is probably my favorite right now and I am thinking pretty highly of them. That could change and I want to look at some other schools. I haven't heard that much from Oklahoma or really thought that much about them. They are a very good program and somebody that I am considering. I guess the same goes for OSU."

Boss also throws the shot and discus in track and has placed in the discus since his sophomore year.
