Signing Time: 7:28 a.m.
Scout.com Ranking: Three-star
Kameel Jackson (WR--6'1"/185): Jackson was the very first commitment in this class way back in October 2009, and since then he's impressed, but not without some pain in the process. Jackson tore his ACL back in his junior year but still managed to rack up 322 receiving yards and a couple touchdowns on 13 catches. Most recently, Jackson had 438 yards and four touchdowns on 34 receptions in his senior year. That was a big reason why he was invited to participate in the NUC All-World Gridiron Classic. And he excelled there with a game-high seven receptions for 163 yards.
What he's coming into at the position: As mentioned, there are a ton of talented receivers for next year, and they figure to be in front of him. Many guys, including Ryan Broyles, Kenny Stills, Trey Franks, Dejuan Miller, Joe Powell and Trey Metoyer, figure to be in front of him. But that still doesn't mean he can't compete and utilize the experience of these other players to improve his game although he'll likely redshirt.
