Fall Camp Rundown

NORMAN, Okla. — The Sooners are just a matter of days now from opening up fall camp, so here's the schedule and how it shakes out.

The team is set to report on Aug. 3 before having its first practice along with conditioning tests next Thursday, Aug. 4.

On Aug. 5, the Sooners will host their second practice.

Then, Meet the Sooners Day takes place Aug. 6 along with Media Day at 8-10 a.m. The team will practice again that day.

August 7 and 8 feature OU's fourth and fifth practices, with the first post-practice interviews slated for Aug. 8 with members of the offensive side of the ball.

Two-a-days officially begin Aug. 9, the first of four times this fall the team will hit the gridiron twice on the same day.

Interviews will take place again Aug. 10, as the defense will meet with the media after practice.

OU will host its second edition of two-a-days a day later before the offense addresses the press after a single session Aug. 12.

A practice on Saturday, Aug. 13 and meetings on the ensuing Sunday take us into the final week of fall camp.

Things will run similarly in week three, with three individual sessions mixed around a pair of two-a-days.

The Sooners will hit the field twice Aug. 15 and 17, and once Aug. 16, 18 and 19.

Interview sessions will be on the three single-workout days, with the defense meeting with the media Aug. 16 and 19 and the offense Aug. 18.

Two off days follow before OU starts school and regular season practice begins Aug. 22.
