The Sooners begin conference play Wednesday, Jan. 4, hosting Iowa State at the Lloyd Noble Center. Next, OU visits 2011 national title winners Texas A&M, Sunday, Jan. 8, in College Station, marking the fifth consecutive season that OU is scheduled to play the defending NCAA champion.
OU hosts Texas Tech on Jan. 11 ahead of the first Bedlam Series matchup of the year in Stillwater on Jan. 14. Oklahoma continues road play at Kansas State on Jan. 17 before returning home for games against Texas on Jan. 21 and Baylor on Jan. 25.
Consecutive games playing Baylor and Missouri repeat with a trip to Waco on Feb. 6 and the Tigers in Norman on Feb. 11. OU will host Kansas State on Feb. 15, surrounding its non-conference game with Connecticut on Feb. 13 with home stands.
OU plays three of its final five on the road visiting Iowa State on Feb. 18, hosting Texas A&M on Feb. 21, and then dancing the Texas Two-Step through Austin on Feb. 25 and Lubbock on Feb. 29. The regular season finale against Kansas is Sunday, March 4, in Norman.
In another format change, the Big 12 Championship at Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City runs four straight days, March 7-10. In recent years, the duration of the tournament was played over five days.
The University of Oklahoma hosts the NCAA Championship First and Second Rounds March 18 and 20 at the Lloyd Noble Center in Norman.
