NORMAN, Okla. — For the first time since the inception of the Big 12 Conference, each team will play a home and home, as the conference released the 2011-12 slate, and the Sooners open things up with a Jan. 4 contest at Missouri.

But they play three of their next four at home, first against Kansas Jan. 7, then at Oklahoma State Jan. 9 before hosting Kansas State and Texas Tech Jan. 14 and 17, respectively.

After that, OU heads on the road four three of the next four outings, including first a Jan. 21 battle in College Station against Texas A&M.

On Jan. 24, the Sooners greet the Baylor Bears at Lloyd Noble Center before making a road trip to face the two Sunflower State schools, Kansas State on Jan. 28, and Kansas on Feb. 1.

Then, it's two home games in 48 hours, Feb. 4 against Iowa State, and Feb. 6 vs. Missouri.

The Sooners head to Lubbock for a Feb. 11 date with the Texas Tech Red Raiders before returning to face Texas Feb. 14.

OU travels to Iowa State Feb. 18 before the second and final Bedlam matchup of the season Feb. 22.

The final three games include Feb. 25 and 29 contests at Baylor and Texas, respectively, and a home battle against Texas A&M March 3.

This year's Phillips 66 Big 12 Championship is slated for March 7-10 at the Sprint Center in Kansas City, Mo.

The Sooners open the regular season on Nov. 11 against Idaho State, but first have exhibition games against Northeastern (Okla.) State and Washburn on Nov. 1 and 6, respectively.
