Oklahoma Commits: Week 2 Schedule

Sooners Illustrated brings you a report showing you each commitment's schedule for this upcoming weekend. The big game of the weekend is the top rivalry in the state of Oklahoma between Jenks and Union. Check inside to see where all the Sooner commits will be taking the field this weekend.

John Michael McGee (Texas HS) – Texas HS will travel to play Arkansas Friday night at 7:30. So far this season McGee and his Tiger teammates are 1-1.

Ty Darlington (Apopka HS) – Apopka will travel to take on Lake Brantley Friday night. Darlington and his Blue Darters teammates will look to bounce back this week after starting the season 0-1.

Alex Ross (Jenks HS) – After winning their first game of the season Jenks will take on their rival, Union, Friday night at 7 at TU Chapman Stadium. Ross sat out the first game of the season with an ankle injury but will be on the field tomorrow night in the ‘Backyard Bowl.'

Durron Neal (DeSmet Jesuit HS) – DeSmet will travel to play Christian Brothers Friday night at 7. So far this season DeSmet is 2-0 and Neal has 23-yards rushing with a touchdown along with 63-yards receiving on three-receptions and two-touchdowns.

Trevor Knight (Reagan HS) – Reagan will host Pflugerville on Friday night at 7:30 as Knight will try to lead his team to another victory and a 2-0 record on the season.

Sterling Shepard (Heritage Hall) – Heritage Hall travels to play Clinton Friday night at 7:30. Shepard and his teammates will look to go 2-0. Shepard had two-catches for 60-yards and two-touchdowns along with a 95-yard kickoff return for a touchdown as well in week 1.

De'Vante Harris (Mesquite Horn HS) – Harris and his Horn teammates are 1-1 so far this season and will travel to play at Lewisville Hebron Friday night at 7:30. Through two games, Harris has nine-tackles with two-passes defended and one-caused fumble.

Charles Tapper (Baltimore City College) – City College will host Douglass Friday night at 6 to kickoff their 2011 season.

Polo Manukainiu (Trinity HS) – Trinity has started off the season like expected with two big victories to go 2-0. This Friday the Trojans will host Richland at 7:30. For the third straight game Manukainiu will be held out due to a knee injury he is rehabbing.

Kyle Marrs (Brandeis HS) – Marrs and his Brandeis teammates are off to a 2-0 start and will look to go 3-0 Friday night when they play host to Warren at 7:30.

Laith Harlow (Godby HS) – Harlow and his Godby teammates will travel to take on Choctawhatchee on Friday night at 7 to try and start their season out at 2-0.

Daniel Brooks (Calhoun HS) – Calhoun will host Tuloso-Midway Friday night at 7:30. So far this season Brooks has 13-carries for 272-yards and three-touchdowns. Calhoun will look to go 2-0 Friday night.

Eric Striker (Armwood HS) – Striker and his Armwood teammates have a bye this weekend after starting the season 2-0. Through two games Striker has 12-total tackles.

Trey Metoyer (Hargrave Military) – This Saturday at 2 p.m. Metoyer will take the field for the first time with his Hargrave teammates as they will play host to Blue Ridge to start the season.
