Oklahoma Commits: Week 3 Schedule

Sooners Illustrated bring you a report showing you each commitments schedule for this upcoming weekend. Check inside to see where the future Sooners will take the field this weekend.

John Michael McGee (Texas HS) – McGee and his Texas High teammates took care of business last week defeating Arkansas High 21-0 to move to 2-1 on the season. Tomorrow night they will host Bentonville High from Arkansas at 7:30.

Ty Darlington (Apopka HS) – Apopka dropped to 0-2 after losing to Lake Brantley 31-25 last week. Apopka is off this week.

Alex Ross (Jenks HS) –Jenks was dominated by Union last Friday losing 41-19 to drop the Trojans to 1-1 on the year. Ross saw his first action of the season and rushed for 133-yards on 15-carries including an 85-yard touchdown run even though he was not 100 percent due to an ankle injury he is still recovering from. Tomorrow night Jenks will host Owasso.

Durron Neal (DeSmet Jesuit HS) -Like Jenks, DeSmet was dominated as well by Christian Brothers 52-22 which gave them their first loss of the season. DeSmet will look to go 3-1 tomorrow night when they travel to play Vianney at 7:00.

Trevor Knight (Reagan HS) - Knight and his Reagan teammates are now 2-0 on the year after defeating Pflugerville last Friday 28-10. Knight is off to a good start his season through two games completing 34 of 61 attempts for 470-yards and five-touchdowns with no interceptions along with 37-carries for 154-yards and two-touchdowns. Tomorrow night Reagan will travel to play Alamo Heights at 7:30.

Sterling Shepard (Heritage Hall) – Heritage Hall earned its second straight easy victory last Friday beating Clinton 41-7 moving the Chargers to 2-0 on the year. Shepard finished the game with five-catches for 105-yards and a touchdown while recording four-tackles on defense at the corner position. Tomorrow night Heritage Hall will host Davis at 7:30.

De'Vante Harris (Mesquite Horn HS) – Hebron handed Horn their second loss of the season 21-20 in the final minutes of the game which moves Horn to 1-2 on the year. Harris had two-passes defended in the game. Horn will have yet another tough test tomorrow night at 7:30 when they host Denton Guyer.

Charles Tapper (Baltimore City College) - City College started the season off on the right foot beating Douglass 40-0. Tapper and his City College teammates will look to go 2-0 Saturday night when they play Dunbar at 6.

Polo Manukainiu (Trinity HS) - Trinity dismantled Richland 64-0 last Friday holding them to 57-total yards of offense. Tomorrow night could be worse for the Trojans opponent when they travel to play Irving at 7:30. Good news for Trojans fans is Manukainiu will see the field for the first time this season.

Kyle Marrs (Brandeis HS) - Brandeis won a close game last Friday against Warren 29-28 to go 3-0 on the season. Saturday night they will travel to take on Stevens at 7.

Laith Harlow (Godby HS) -Godby took care of business last week beating Choctawhatchee 26-9, moving them to 2-0 on the year. Harlow contributed on the night with a 13-yard touchdown catch. Tomorrow night Harlow and his Godby teammates will host Jefferson County at 7.

Daniel Brooks (Calhoun HS) - Calhoun moved to 3-0 last week after beating up on Tuloso-Midway 62-6. Tomorrow night Calhoun will travel to play Cuero at 7:30.

Eric Striker (Armwood HS) - Coming off of their bye week Armwood will take on Tampa Bay Tech tomorrow night at 7:30 where they will look to move to 3-0.

Trey Metoyer (Hargrave Military) - Last week Hargrave started the season off on the wrong foot losing to Blue Ridge 49-32. Hargrave's passing game struggled mightily in the game. Hopefully that will change for Metoyer's sake when they play Covenant tomorrow night at 6.
