And again, it's a highly sought after linebacker, as they have reached out to Wyomissing Area (Pennsylvania) JSHS backer Alex Anzalone.
The 6-foot-3, 220-pounder got the call from OU linebackers coach Tim Kish, who already made a positive impression in handing out the junior's 20th offer.
"Oh yeah, yeah, he seemed like a really good guy," Anzalone said. "I talked to him on the phone for a little bit and he seemed like a great guy. I'm looking forward to developing a relationship with him."
And he's excited about potentially forming a relationship with head coach Bob Stoops and learning more about the program.
"Well, it's definitely a school I'm interested in," Anzalone said. "I know they have a great tradition of football at Oklahoma. I know Coach Stoops has done a great job all the years he's been there. I mean, it's an honor to have another offer from a big time school like that."
This week, it's off to Charlottesville, Va., before taking a couple of big time visits in March.
"Yeah, I'm going to UVA on Saturday and also Michigan March 23 and Notre Dame on the 24th," Anzalone said.
Will he take a trip to Norman after that?
"I'm going to think about it," Anzalone said. "I have to talk to my parents and then we'll decide. But I'm really interested."
Regardless, he's more than thrilled to add another top notch school to his list.
"It means a lot," Anzalone said. "It's a pretty satisfying feeling that I'm getting all these offers and all the attention but it really just makes me want to be a better player and work even harder to live up to all that hype."
