"I went to those camps to show colleges coaches that I could play on the division-one level," said Leggett. "I think I did okay and I was told I was the best receiver at all three camps. At all three camps I was offered a scholarships after the camp was over and that was what I set out to do."

Leggett runs track and in the 110HH (14.13), 100M (10.4) and he has run a 4.3 flat forty at the Texas and TCU camps. Leggett moved to Grace Prep last year after starting for two years at Bartow High in Poke Country, Florida. Last season Leggett caught 33 passes for 900 yards and 13 touchdowns. Leggett also returns kick-offs and he starts at free safety. Leggett can bench 205 pounds, can leg prss 600 pounds 11 times, but he admits he hasn't worked on it much.

Lance also plans to attend summercamps at Florida and Florida State. Colorado, Oklahoma State, Purdue, Georgia Tech, Duke, Iowa, Kansas, Arizona, Arizona State have also offered Leggett, and Oklahoma is showing a great interest.

"I am very wide open in recruiting right now and it is going to come down to who really wants me the most," said Leggett. "I like Oklahoma and I like them a lot.

"I am going up to Oklahoma in the next couple of weeks, so that I can look around. I am still trying to narrow down my top five, but I know that Oklahoma is going to be on that final list. I guess the teams where I camped may be a factor as well. To be honest, I have a lot of confidence in my abilities and I feel I can play anywhere."
