RECRUITING: Receiver still has eyes on Texas

Round Rock, Texas wide receiver Myron Hardy hopes to be able to make a decision this week

JH: You just returned from the Texas football camp, so what did you think?

MH: "I thought I did well at the camp and I think I showed them what they needed to see as far as playing wide receiver. I think I showed them that I can catch the ball and run routes as a wide receiver."

JH: Did the Texas coaches tell you anything about offering you a scholarship?

MH: "We talked about this and he warned me to 'keep our conversation between you and me'. You should be finding out some stuff in the next few days."

JH: Do you still expect to commit in the next few days?

MH: "Yes, I do."

JH: Who are your top contenders?

MH: "My choices are the same three LSU, Texas and Oklahoma."

JH: Who is your leader at this time?

MH: "I would say probably Texas."

JH: Do you think you will commit to Texas?

MH: "I hope so."

JH: "What gives Texas the edge?

MH: "It's is basically the fact that I grew up in this area and I always wanted to play for them. I have always thought that I would play for Texas."
