Jackson tweets he's returning to OU

NORMAN, Okla. — Head coach Bob Stoops indefinitely suspended four players last week, including wide receivers Kameel Jackson, Trey Franks and Jaz Reynolds and defensive back Quentin Hayes, but one of those has guaranteed he's coming back.

After previously tweeting that he was transferring to Texas A&M before recently getting suspended for an unspecified violation of team rules, Jackson said he'll do the opposite: return to OU in fall 2012.

"Decided to stay at OU. & w/ that being said, its time to silence all rumors," Jackson tweeted.

Then, he went on to explain his punishment from Stoops.

"My suspensions came from my failure to meet my class attendance policy. Nothing more; nothing less," Jackson tweeted.

The only question now is how long will he and the others be suspended and how long it'll be until they get back on the field.

Jackson finished with 12 receptions for 165 yards, including 13.8 yards per reception while playing as a true freshman last year.
