Is Wolfe's verbal still solid?

JH: How is your summer going?

DJ: "It is going pretty well. On June 8 I went OU's summer camp and worked hard their. Then after that, I went to Louisiana to chill and hang out with some relatives."

JH: Did you like the Sooners camp?

DJ: "I felt like I learned a lot from Coach Gundy that will be beneficial in high school, and I will try to carry it over to college. It was a great camp and I got a lot out of it."

JH: You wore an OU helmet at the camp and looked like you were already a Sooner. Did you feel like you were already a part of the team?

DJ: "Yeah, I almost felt like I was on the OU team because most of the kids were coming up to me and asking me if I was D.J. Wolfe, and asking me if I had already committed to OU. I kind of like that and that aspect of it was pretty fun."

JH: Are you still a solid commitment to OU?

DJ: "Oh yeah, I am very strong to my commitment. There are just a couple of things that I need to talk to the coaches about, but I still feel good about my decision."

JH: What are those things that you need to talk to the coaches about?

DJ: "We all know that they are recruiting Adrian Peterson, or at least that is what everybody is saying. I haven't had a chance to talk to the coaches about that, but I want to see what is really up with that."

JH: Would it bother you if OU is recruiting Peterson?

DJ: "Yeah, that would bother me, because when they recruited me they told me they wouldn't recruit another running back. I don't know if it bothers me enough to say that I would decommit. I really don't know where I stand with that. I really like Oklahoma, and for the last couple of years they have really been showing out to me. I don't think I would change my mind, but I just want to know what is going on with that situation."

JH: Are you going to any other camps this summer?

DJ: "The OU camp is the only camp that I went to, and I went there to let them know that I was totally committed to them and that I was a man of my word. I told them that I was committed to them and I am going to hold to that commitment."

JH: How are you working out this summer?

DJ: "I workout at Gold's gym every other day. That is really helping me. I went to that camp and then went to Louisiana and lost ten pounds. Since I have been back I have put 13 pounds back on and know things are looking pretty good. I weigh 194 right now and I want to be up to 200 pounds by the time the season starts. I am doing gassers and little sprints to improve my speed."
