1. Quarterback Landry Jones is back for one thing and one thing only
It seems obvious but it cannot be overstated that the reason Jones came back was to get to Miami and not just play in the BCS National Championship but win it. He's one of the most accomplished quarterbacks in Sooner history, just four victories shy of the all-time wins mark. He's a perfect 3-0 in bowl games, winning the Sun, Fiesta and Insight Bowls, respectively. He's guided OU to a Big 12 Championship and posted numerous statistical records. But all of that would take the back seat to OU's eighth national championship, should he carry OU to that feat in January. That's his goal and the only reason he returned.
