No. 9 rings in on D-line

NORMAN, Okla. — New Sooner defensive line coach Jerry Montgomery has made a big splash since arriving on campus this spring, but today he's made his biggest splash.

Montgomery landed his first defensive line commit for the 2014 class in tackle Brandon Glenn out of Irving Ranchview HS.

The pledge comes just three days after Montgomery and the Sooners offered Glenn.

And that came after he had a strong showing at OU's annual summer camp earlier this month.

He becomes the ninth commit and fourth on the defensive side of the ball for the upcoming class.

Glenn, who stands in at 6-foot-3, 255 pounds, chose the Sooners over Houston, Kansas State and North Texas.
