Oklahoma was already faring well at wide receiver before this month, but the Sooners latest commit happens to be their highest ranked.
OU fans had every reason to be excited when Scottsdale (Ariz.) Desert Mountain wide receiver Mark Andrews committed to the program two weeks ago. A four-star prospect, Andrews comes in at No. 70 in the latest Scout 300 released Monday morning.
Andrews is ranked No. 12 overall at wide receiver and is OU's sole pledge in the Scout 100, but the Sooners do have a couple of more in the Scout 300.
Not surprisingly, the second highest-ranked commit is also at wide receiver as La Mirada (Calif.) High four-star prospect Dallis Todd is at No. 194 and No. 34 at wide receiver.
Up next is the quarterback both Todd and Andrews hope to be catching passes from as Edmond (Okla.) Santa Fe four-star signal-caller Justice Hansen comes in at No. 256 and No. 16 at quarterback.
Those are OU's three four-star commits, but every other pledge is a three-star prospect. Irving (Texas) Ranchview's Brandon Glenn has been bumped up from a two-star defensive tackle to a three-star tackle.
