OU's interior linemen 'wish list'

Wish List moves toward the big boys with a look at OU's top interior linemen targets.

With all spring games in the books, things are starting to work themselves out on the recruiting trail. It's time to start looking more intently on Oklahoma's "wish list" for the Class of 2015.

SoonersIllustrated.com is going to examine the recruiting situation for the Sooners at every single position in the next week.

Here is an idea of where OU stands heading into May. The number in parentheses indicates the number of recruits OU is looking to sign at the position for the Class of 2015. The names in no way reflect OU's official board but are the best guesstimate of who OU is targeting.

OG/C (2)

Committed: None.

Favorite: Lawton (Okla.) High's Jalin Barnett. The No. 1-ranked prospect in the state for a reason, Barnett and OU offensive line coach Bill Bedenbaugh have a tremendous relationship. Barnett has seen OU more times than any other school combined, including making another trip to Norman for the spring game. His offer list is impressive, but the Sooners still look like the school to beat.

Next in line: None. It still feels like OU is putting all of its eggs in the OKPreps basket with Barnett and Wariboko.

On the radar: Oklahoma City Casady's Josh Wariboko. We all know the story at this point of the one-time OU commit. If the relationship can be mended with his younger brother, Max Wariboko, then OU will be in a great position. Bedenbaugh has worked so hard with Josh Wariboko that it's tough to imagine him going anywhere else. But Wariboko wants to see what else is out there, and unfortunately for OU, there is a lot out there as he has the most offers in the state for the 2015 class.
