Oklahoma set for Bedlam showdown in late January, closes season with Kansas

After making a splash on Big Monday, the Oklahoma Sooners found out Thursday that they’ll play 18 total games on the ESPN family of networks when the full schedule for the 2014-15 season was released.

Oklahoma will open the season against Baylor on Jan. 3 and will conclude the season on March 7 against Kansas at home.

The Big 12 Men’s Basketball Championship will be played from March 11 to 14.

Nationally televised games for the Sooners this season will include:

at Texas on Jan. 5 (ESPN)

vs. Oklahoma State on Jan 17 (ESPN or ESPN2)

at Kansas on Jan. 19 (ESPN)

at Baylor on Jan. 24 (ESPN2)

at Oklahoma State on Jan. 31 (ESPN2)

vs. West Virginia on Feb. 3 (ESPN2)

vs. Iowa State on Feb. 9 (ESPN)

at Kansas State on Feb. 14 (ESPN2)

vs. Texas on Feb. 17 (ESPN2)

at Iowa State on March 2 (ESPN or ESPNU)

vs. Kansas on March 7 (ESPN or ESPN2)

Oklahoma finished second in the Big 12 last season before being upset in the first round of the NCAA Tournament by 12th-seeded North Dakota State.
