Recruiting: Arlington LB playing both ways

"We had our first scrimmage last weekend and we play another scrimmage this weekend. We played Duncanville and I finished with 56 yards rushing and 13 tackles. I am going to go both ways at running back and linebacker. I didn't have any problem going both ways, because we had a three running back rotation and I got about 15 plays on offense. I got a little tired on defense, but like I told my coach, it's on defense where I have to make it happen. I got a little winded, but I was okay."

"It is pretty much the same in recruiting. I would say that Oklahoma, Texas and Florida are the top schools. I watched the OU-North Carolina game on TV and I was impressed how the defense played and how the linebackers played. That game will give me a chance now to compare the Texas linebackers and see how they play. I am very impressed with Oklahoma, even more so after the North Carolina game."

"All three of those schools have offered me and all are great schools. Coach Venables is recruiting me at OU and I love that guy. I had a chance to visit OU unofficially and realized how great of a person his is. I could tell that on the phone, but in person he was straight up on everything about where I would play and he didn't try to snow me on anything. He even told he couldn't tell me if I was going to be a great linebacker or not, because he said no linebacker in America could tell that and that is true."

"The only visit I have set thus far is with Alabama (12-3), but I will set a visit with OU, Florida and Texas."
