OKPreps Week 6 primer

Series continues as we hit the second half of the regular season in the OKPreps year.

We’re one week closer to the season. Not just for Oklahoma but in Oklahoma high school football as well.

To get you geared up, Sooners Illustrated is going to take a week-by-week glance at the top games featuring the most OU interest.

With the focus being purely Sooners, it’s not necessarily the games that feature the most star-studded recruits but the games that have the recruits with the most legitimate OU interest.

OKPreps Week 6

Tuttle at Harrah

Why watch: Jason White’s old stomping grounds against the Panthers, a school on the rise. Logan Roberson is the first star recruit from Harrah a long time and impressed so much in the last few months to earn the OU offer and commitment.

Tuttle has traditionally been among the better schools in the lower classes although the Tigers aren’t bringing any big-time recruits into this showdown, at least not yet.

There has been some chatter about a couple of the younger Tuttle kids and this will be their opportunity to showcase what they can do.

Best of the rest

Moore Southmoore at Tulsa Union. Another week, another east side power for Southmoore. A showdown of arguably two of the best three prospects in the state for the 2017 class with Southmoore’s Quindon Lewis and Union’s Tre Brown. Both are ranked in the Scout 300.
