Logan Roberson, Brandon George in spotlight

Few OU targets to be on the watch when Harrah plays at Jones.

The high school schedule takes a bit of a dip for Week 2, but there is one quality game featuring an Oklahoma commit and some future top prospects.

Although all eyes in the state will be glued toward the annual Backyard Bowl between Jenks and Tulsa Union, OU fans should turn their gaze to this one.

Harrah at Jones

Who to watch: Sick of hearing about how Logan Roberson is a diamond in the rough? See him for yourself and judge. Still currently a two-star prospect by Scout, Roberson has been committed to OU for three months now and cannot see that changing.

Roberson had a quality spring before an incredible showing at OU’s elite camp in June secured the offer, and he committed right there on the spot.

He’s got the size, and Jones should give him a good test to see where he and the Panthers are at right now.

2017 Jones QB Brandon George

It’s possible George is the best QB prospect in the state for the 2017 class. Already with offers from North Texas and Yale and receiving strong Stanford interest, this could be a showcase event for George with so many eyes watching.

Through two games, George has thrown for 424 yards with four touchdowns and two interceptions.

2018 Jones WR Sean Shaw

One reason George is going to put up big numbers is because he has Shaw as a main target. Already a legit 6-foot-4, Shaw is on his way toward becoming one of the state’s best prospects for the 2018 class.

He had an impressive showing at OU’s camp during the summer and has carried over all of his camp momentum into his sophomore season.

Through two games, Shaw has 13 receptions for 155 yards.
