Action for the Sooners' 2016 commits continues for another week.

As Oklahoma heads into its bye week, some of the Sooners 2016 commits are entering their bye week as well. Here’s a quick look at how the Sooners’ current field of 2016 commits and their teams performed this week:

Jon-Michael Terry, LB, Victory Christian School – The Conquerors’ game against Shiloh Christian (Ark.) was cancelled Friday.

Adrian Hardy, WR, Dekaney High School – Bye week.

Austin Kendall, QB, Cuthbertson High School – Cuthbertson lost its second game of the season. This time, it fell victim to a 24-17 upset against Forest Hills.

Ryan Parker, WR, Tyler Junior College– Unable to play against a future teammate at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M, Tyler was upset by NEO 40-23. Parker was on his official visit to OU.

Logan Roberson, OL, Harrah High School – After losing late last week, Harrah took an early lead and never looked back with a 55-14 victory against Perkins-Tryon.

Maurice Chandler, CB, NE Oklahoma A&M – Chandler and NEO earned the huge upset win, knocking off fourth-ranked Tyler 40-23.

Chanse Sylvie, S, Calvary Baptist Academy – A crosstown rivalry game against No. 8 Byrd turned into Calvary Baptist’s second loss of the season after a 49-21 defeat. Thus far this season, Calvary Baptist has allowed 114 points in three games. It doesn’t get any easier as Calvary Baptist faces No. 4 Zachary next week.

Bryce Youngquist, LB, Los Osos High School – After starting the season with two losses, Los Osos picked up its second consecutive game with a 42-26 victory against JW North. Los Osos will have a bye next week.

Parrish Cobb, CB, La Vega High School – Cobb caught a 50-yard touchdown pass and broke a 60-yard touchdown run, both in the first half, as La Vega remained unbeaten with a 42-21 victory against Mexia, which had been unbeaten.

Pernell Jefferson, LB, Warren Easton – Easton scored four unanswered touchdowns to open the game Friday night and rolled to a 62-20 win against McMain. Jefferson helped lead a Warren Easton defense that didn’t allow a point in the second half.
