DeJon Jarreau, Brison Gresham cut OU off list

Elite New Orleans-based duo sets two finalists for pledge

Elite New Orleans-based basketball duo of DeJon Jarreau and Brison Gresham are no longer considering the Oklahoma Sooners.

Once in the top three, Oklahoma fell out of favor for the duo recently – following the pair’s trip to Miami and the Sooners receiving a commit from JuCo All-American Darrion Strong.

Jarreau, who was scheduled with an official visit to Oklahoma with Gresham on Oct. 3, said they are down to UMass and Miami.

Oklahoma secured its fourth commitment for the 2016 class last week with Strong to go with Kristian Doolittle, Kameron McGusty and Matt Freeman, which is already rated as the highest recruiting class under Lon Kruger.

Jarreau is rated as the 66 th-best player in the country – a four-star point guard – and Gresham is a three-star defensive power forward.
