After recording-setting performance, Sooners' quarterback named co-Offensive Player of the Week
Oklahoma quarterback Baker Mayfield set a new Sooners' record for total yards with 572 against Tulsa on Saturday and accounted for six touchdowns, tying a program record.
On Monday, the Big 12 Conference named him co-Offensive Player of the Week along with TCU quarterback Trevone Boykin.
Mayfield finished 32-for-38 with 487 yards passing, the second-highest total of the season across the nation. He threw four touchdown passes.
Oklahoma cornerback Zack Sanchez was named the conference's defensive player of the week last week giving the Sooners a pair of award winners.
