Oklahoma is going to host Florida in the Big 12/SEC basketball challenge, according to a report from CBSsports.com on Monday afternoon.
After playing in Baton Rouge last year against LSU, the Sooners will get to welcome the Gators to Lloyd Noble Center.
OU, ranked No. 1 at the time last year, won a thriller at LSU and eventually reached the Final Four before losing to eventual national champion Villanova in the national semifinals.
The challenge once again is highlighted by perennial powers Kansas and Kentucky going head-to-head. The Jayhawks won in overtime last year against the Wildcats and must go to Rupp Arena this time around.
A formal announcement will be coming soon, but here are the matchups expected:
Florida at Oklahoma
Kansas at Kentucky
Texas A&M at West Virginia
Baylor at Ole Miss
Texas at Georgia
Iowa State at Vanderbilt
Kansas State at Tennessee
Auburn at TCU
Arkansas at Oklahoma State
LSU at Texas Tech
