As a senior, Cousins averaged 12.6 points, 4.5 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game in his first full season at point guard. He started 105 straight games over three years but took a huge leap on NBA draft boards in his final season at Oklahoma when he transitioned to the Sooners’ starting point guard and helped lead Oklahoma to the Final Four.
Cousins became the 42nd player in program history to reach 1,000 points and ended his career with 1,326.
Cousins made a major impact on NBA scouts and many organizations during the off-season scouting period. He put in great work-outs for many teams and shined at multiple camps that moved him from a potential second-round selection to possible late-first round pick.
