Redshirt sophomore wide receiver Dallis Todd has been removed from Oklahoma’s online roster and is no longer with the program and will transfer, sources confirmed over the weekend.
Todd played in six games in 2015 and had one catch for nine yards in OU’s win against TCU. Todd suffered a neck injury during one of the first practices in the spring and was never really able to showcase his abilities.
From La Mirada (Calif.) High, Todd was a four-star receiver ranked No. 215 in the Scout 300 for OU’s 2014 class. Injuries slowed Todd down upon his initial arrival in Norman, and he could never seem to crack the depth chart.
The departure of Todd is just the latest for OU when it comes to receiver since the spring. Redshirt freshman John Humphrey transferred to Arizona State, while junior Michiah Quick has moved from receiver to cornerback.
Todd was one of four receivers/tight ends for the 2014 class, joining Quick, Mark Andrews and Jeffery Mead who were recruited by former coach Jay Norvell. Todd is the eighth member of OU's 2014 class from the high school ranks to no longer be with the program.
