Oklahoma and Temple will begin a three-game football series beginning in 2024, it was announced Wednesday afternoon.
The first game will be in Norman on Aug. 31, 2024, with OU heading to Philadelphia the following year, Sept. 13, 2025. After a two-year break, the schools will get together one final time Sept. 2, 2028, in Norman.
This will be the first meeting between the Sooners and Owls since 1942 with the all-time series tied 1-1 right now.
OU, of course, is coming off an 11-2 season and winning a Big 12 championship and earning a berth in the college football playoff. Temple featured a resurgence in its program with a 10-4 record, the most wins for the Owls since 1979.
