One big commitment deserves another for Oklahoma. This time, figuratively and literally.
OU added its 2018 quarterback Sunday and now has flipped Shawnee (Okla.) High offensive lineman Creed Humphrey for the 2017 class Monday afternoon.
Humphrey, ranked No. 295 in the Scout 300, originally committed to Texas A&M on June 29, and it was always down to OU and the Aggies.
Despite the commitment, OU never stopped pursuing Humphrey, the No. 1-ranked offensive lineman in the state.
Humphrey gives OU all five of the state’s Scout 300 prospects in Levi Draper, Tre Brown, Justin Broiles and Isaiah Thomas.
Humphrey is OU’s second offensive lineman in the Scout 300, joining Tyrese Robinson and third overall to go with Marquis Hayes. OU now has 13 commits in the Scout 300.
Newbury Park (Calif.) High quarterback Cameron Rising, ranked No. 48 in the Scout 100 for 2018, committed to OU on Sunday morning.
