OU recruiting rewind: Week 0

SoonerSquad17 hit the gridiron in full force this weekend.

Week 0 is in the books, and Oklahoma’s commits put on a show across the country. Here’s a look at how the Sooners pledges fared over the weekend.

Mesquite (Texas) Horn QB Chris Robison: Completed 13 of 18 passes for 214 yards and two touchdowns. Also rushed for 65 yards and a score in a 46-31 win against McKinney Boyd. Left game with slightly separated shoulder, questionable for next week.

Marietta (Ga.) Sprayberry RB Trey Sermon: Didn’t have a lot of work to do but did have a touchdown in a 60-0 victory. And started game with this run.

Scranton (Pa.) Lackawanna CC ATH Marcelias Sutton: Opens the season Sunday afternoon.

Charlotte (N.C.) Vance H-Back Jeremiah Hall: Vance cruised to a 63-21 win against Providence, including this touchdown by Hall.

Waxahachie (Texas) High WR Jalen Reagor: Had seven catches for 141 yards with two touchdowns, including a 93-yard touchdown reception in a 46-34 victory.

Cedar Hill (Texas) High WR Charleston Rambo: Had five catches for 78 yards, including a 27-yard touchdown in a 44-14 loss to Las Vegas Bishop Gorman.

Richmond (Texas) Foster WR CeeDee Lamb: Had three catches for 101 yards, including a 91-yard touchdown reception. Had a 75-yard punt return for a score in a 28-17 win.

Rancho Santa Margarita (Calif.) Catholic TE Grant Calcaterra: Had seven catches for 33 yards in a 48-21 loss to Mission Viejo.

McKinney (Texas) Boyd OG Tyrese Robinson: Helped Boyd accumulate more than 400 yards of offense but wasn’t enough in 46-31 loss to Mesquite Horn.

Maryland Heights (Mo.) Pattonville OG Marquis Hayes: Pattonville trailed 14-0 but scored the final 40 points to earn first win of season, 40-14 against Mehlville.

Shawnee (Okla.) High C Creed Humphrey: Season starts this week.

Tulsa (Okla.) Memorial DE Isaiah Thomas: Season starts this week.

Hayward (Calif.) Stellar Prep OLB Addison Gumbs: Senior season started on a good note with a 26-25 victory against Castro Valley.

Missouri City (Texas) Fort Bend Elkins OLB Kenneth Murray: A 31-point second quarter was too much for Elkins to overcome in a 51-14 loss to Dickinson.

Collinsville (Okla.) High ILB Levi Draper: Cruised to a 47-0 victory that featured this hit from Draper.

Tulsa (Okla.) Union CB Tre Brown: Had three carries for 12 yards and two catches for 21 yards in 21-10 win at Southlake Carroll. Never had a chance to defend a pass at cornerback.

OKC John Marshall DB Justin Broiles: Season starts this week.

Southlake (Texas) Carroll S Robert Barnes: Delivered some major hits but team fell short in 21-10 loss to Tulsa Union.

New Braunfels (Texas) Canyon P Reeves Mundschau: Averaged more than 40 yards per punt in eight kicks in a 35-0 loss to Cedar Ridge.

Newbury Park (Calif.) QB Cameron Rising: Completed 20 of 34 passes for 358 yards and five touchdowns. Rushed for 82 yards and a score in a 65-44 opening-season victory.

Moore (Okla.) Southmoore OT Brey Walker: Season starts this week.

Lancaster (Texas) High DB Jordon Austin: Lancaster couldn’t hold on as Denton Ryan stormed back in the fourth quarter for a 35-23 victory.
