OU's Charles Walker with stern message - 'Never leave my guys behind'

Charles Walker attempted to quiet the speculation about his status by saying he's still all-in with Sooners.

There has been a lot of speculation regarding Oklahoma defensive lineman Charles Walker in the last few weeks.

Following his best game of the season against TCU three weeks ago, Walker said he suffered a concussion in that game and hasn’t been seen since as he waits to get medical clearance.

This Monday brought a new wrinkle to the story with Walker completely removed from OU’s official depth chart, leading people to wondering about his status with the team.

Walker decided to set the record straight with his own message on Twitter on Tuesday evening.

The OU defensive line has been able to adjust without Walker and Matt Dimon with guys like Neville Gallimore and Austin Roberts coming up big for the Sooners.

However, it would be foolish to say OU is better off without Walker, and there’s no doubt the Sooners are hopeful he can come back at 100 percent and contribute heading down the stretch run for OU this season.
