Freeman is your prototypical tight end that every college in the country would love to sign. A 3-year starter, Freeman is equally gifted as a blocker at the line of scrimmage or as a receiver in the secondary. As a sophomore, Freeman played only at defensive end, but last year went both ways adding tight end. His first year Freeman caught 16 passes for 348 and four touchdowns. Freeman can bench 300 pounds and he has a 32-inch vertical.
Freeman worked on his skills at the Notre Dame this summer and felt he performed well at the camp, evident by the fact they offered him a scholarship following the camp.
"Notre Dame is one of my favorite schools along with Minnesota," said Freeman. "I also have an interest in Oklahoma, Wisconsin, UCLA, Alabama, Auburn, Michigan State and Nebraska. I don't have a favorite school right. Oklahoma looks real good and I talked to Bob Stoops recently and he sounded real positive. OU seems to have a great interest in me."
Freeman has qualified.
