Evaluation notes

Kenneth Murray is a versatile linebacker prospect who has lined up at outside linebacker, defensive end, and even safety for a Texas Class 6A football program.

Murray flashes impressive athleticism on the field and in testing scenarios as he's been verified at 4.68 in the 40 and 4.34 in the shuttle. Murray projects as a potentially scheme-versatile outside linebacker in college. He possesses traits that fit a traditional 4-3 OLB, but has experience playing a standing edge role and could fit a 3-4 OLB position as well.

Murray closes quickly in backside pursuit and shows the athleticism to track sideline to sideline. He needs to improve his tackling technique and consistency and he can sometimes play a bit hesitant.

Overall, Murray's physical tools and potential are enough to get him Power Five conference offers. It will be interesting to see what type of scheme he plays in college given his versatility. -- Gabe Brooks
