SCOTT WHITE, OLB, SAN DIEGO MISSION BAY, CALIFORNIA:
"I am having a very good season. To be honest, high school football has become real easy for me. I am still having fun out there, but it is apparent that I am much better than this level at this point. At times high school football gets boring for me, but I am still having fun."
"The first game I had 14 carries for 130 yards and one TD, while on defense I had 11m tackles, three sacks and one interception. In the third game I had 17 carries for 102 yards and four touchdowns. On defense I finished with 16 tackles
and a sack."
"I am going to take my official visit this weekend to Oklahoma. I am really excited about that visit. I go to Washington October 6th and those are the only two visits that I have set at this time. I am not sure I am going to go to Notre Dame any more. I was scheduled to go there in January, but I think I am going to drop that one. I like LSU and Ohio State now. Ohio State didn't recruit me very hard early, but they have as of late. Florida State has started call me and they have started to show some interest. I always liked them growing up, but they haven't offered me at this time."
"The five schools that I visit will be the schools that I choose from. I will drop all other schools. I will probably take five visits and then reflect on them before making a decision. I am really excited about my visit to OU, but I don't think I will commit there this weekend. If after my five visits Oklahoma is the school that makes me feel the most comfortable, then that is where I am going to go to school. I like Oklahoma a lot. I like how they are recruiting me. They are straight to the point and don't beat around the bush. Coach (Brent) Venables told me that I would have a great opportunity to come in and play. He feels that I could come in and play any of the three positions, but I think he is looking for me to replace (Rocky) Calmus at the weakside.
