Recruiting: Texas receiver waiting for OU offer

Carrolton receiver says he would commit to Oklahoma if offered

Wilson has emerged as one of the top 50 players in Texas and may be the top wide receiver in Texas. A two-year starter, Wilson caught 27 passes for 409 yards and seven touchdowns a year ago. Thus far this season Wilson has 11 catches through three games for 280 yards and four touchdowns. On defense, Wilson is a cover corner and a good one at that. Thus far he has one interception, despite the fact that nobody throws his way. He primarily plays on goal-line situations against bigger receivers.

Wilson can bench 300 pounds, squats 405 and he has a 33-inch vertical jump. Wilson is the sixth man in hoops and runs the 400M (48.94) where he won the regional title.

"I really like Oklahoma, Texas A&M, Arkansas, Colorado and Wisconsin," said Wilson. "All but Oklahoma have offered me at this point. They are looking at my games and about four other players at wide receiver trying to decide what to do. Plus, they are trying to decide if they want to offer a receiver. I really like Oklahoma because it is not to far from home. I like their offense and everybody is catching footballs it seems. If OU offers I would say that I would go there. I should know this week if they are going to offer or not. I talked to them last week and they said they were looking at more film on me and then they would make a decision. I think I did some good things on that film.
