Dominoes are falling like crazy for Oklahoma recruiting, and it’s clear Memphis Ridgeway wide receiver Kundarrius Taylor didn’t want to be left out.
Taylor, a three-star receiver, became OU’s second commit of Friday and the first receiver for OU’s 2018 class by committing late Friday afternoon.
The addition of Taylor continues the crazy wave of momentum rolling for OU right now under first-year head coach Lincoln Riley. Taylor becomes the fifth commitment since Riley took over June 7 and the fourth for the 2018 class.
Despite being from Memphis, Taylor has always had OU on his mind. Taylor has already visited Norman twice, including a trip for junior day. Taylor has said for a while he was going to commit on senior night, but with OU right now, “reserve your spot” is more than just a slogan. It’s the way things are done.
Taylor joined 2019 early four-star Plano (Texas) Prestonwood Christian tight end Austin Stogner in committing to the Sooners on the last Friday before the two-week dead period starts Monday.
Although Taylor is the initial wide receiver commitment for #RileysReign, there are going to be plenty coming in the upcoming days.
Taylor also had offers from Mississippi State, Auburn, Tennessee and UCLA, among several others. He is OU’s 12th pledge for #ST2K18 and likely not the last one of the weekend.
