NORMAN, Okla. — Oklahoma Head Coach Bob Stoops announced after practice today that sophomore quarterback Brent Rawls has left the team and will transfer to Louisiana Tech.
"Brent Rawls will transfer in good standing with our football team," said Stoops after Tuesday's practice. "Brent gave a good effort, did everything that we asked of him and we wish him all the best at La. Tech."
Stoops also said after practice that Lousiana Tech is on the quarter system and that Rawls will sit out the remainder of this season and possibly be eligible to play for the Bulldogs next season.
