HERMAN JOHNSON, OL, 6-6, 360, 5.5, DENTON, TEXAS (DENTON HS):
JH: Did you go to the OU-Texas game?
HJ: "No, I didn't get to go."
JH: Did you watch the game on television?
HJ: "Yes sir."
JH: What did you think of the game?
HJ: "I am just considering OU and not Texas. I enjoyed the game a lot. It was a real good game on both sides of the ball. I kind of watched real hard the offensive tackles and the offensive line. It was a real good game to watch in that area, but also a real good game overall."
JH: Does the fact that OU plays in such a big game or any of the teams you are considering play in rivalry games or big games play into your decision?
HJ: "Not really, but in a way it kind of does. It really doesn't in the grand scheme of things, because it is just one game. The score really doesn't play into it, because a team can have a good game or a bad game on any given night. The game itself is something that would be fun to be a part of, because you have a packed stadium with the stadium split and alums on both sides of the stadium. That would be a lot of fun to be a part of, but it is not the sole reason why you would pick a school. But it's games like that or rivalry games that may play a part in my decision."
JH: "Have you set any visits at this time?
HJ: "I have set a visit to OU (11-13) and I am going to the LSU-Arkansas game for an unofficial visit. I am considering OU and LSU out of those three schools. I am also still considering Oklahoma State and Colorado."
JH: Do you have a leader?
HJ: "No, not really. I am just waiting out these visits a little bit. I will try to visit OSU and Colorado, but it will all depend on whether I have the time or not. If I can I will probably visit them as well."
JH: When do you feel you will make a decision?
HJ: "Probably after Christmas or so."
