BRANDON FAILS, DT, COFFEYVILLE HERITAGE, TEXAS:
JH: You attended the OU-Kansas State game. What did you think?
BF: It was fun. The game was crazy, but it was a good one. The visit was nice and I was treated great. I had already been up to Norman once before, but I didn't talk to any coaches. I just visited the campus on my own.
Saturday, I had an opportunity to talk to a number of coaches and players. I had a chance to meet Bob and Mike Stoops, Brent Venables, Mark Mangino and basically all the coaches. I also got to see Brandon Everage, who is my cousin.
JH: I didn't know that you and Brandon Everage were cousins?
BF: Brandon lives in Granger, so we didn't get together much. I did watch him play a couple of times in high school and we talked on the phone every now and then. He is a great player.
JH: How are things looking for you in recruiting?
They are looking decent. I still haven't committed anywhere and I am going to wait until I take my official visits. I am still considering LSU, Oklahoma, Kansas State, Arizona State and Texas A&M. I haven't been offered by any of the schools yet, but I believe that Kansas State is very close and Oklahoma is looking at me very seriously as well.
