RECRUITING: Sooners still lead for Peterson?

America's top running back talks where the Sooners stand for his services and his trip to Arkansas.

ADRIAN PETERSON, RB, 6-3, 205, 4.4 PALESTINE, TEXAS (PALESTINE HS):

JH: How did your visit go at Arkansas?

AD: "It was nice there and I had fun. They have a good football program, probably one of the best I've seen. It was nice there."

JH: Did your visit to Arkansas improve Arkansas's chances to sign you?

AD: "Arkansas moved up the list, and right now I would say that my top two schools are Oklahoma and Arkansas and then UCLA."

JH: Were you able to watch any of the Oklahoma/Missouri game?

AD: "Oklahoma is playing pretty good, but they got off to a slow start. Then they poured it on and played pretty good."

JH: How is recruiting shaping up with you at this point?

AD: "My thoughts are the same really. I still really like Oklahoma a lot and they are at the top of my list."

JH: What formation do you like to run out of the best?

AD: "I like the I-formation the best. The one-back is a good formation for me as well. I like to run behind the fullback."

JH: How did you do on the field this past Friday?

AD: "We beat Henderson 7-6 to run our record to 5-1. I did alright. I had about 100 yards rushing and 60 yards receiving. I scored our only touchdown on a four-yard run."
