Recruiting: Galveston CB grew up a Sooner fan

Galveston cornerback says Sooners may be the favorite

"We are off to a great start at 4-0. It's a great feeling to be undefeated at this point. We have been beating teams pretty well. I have been playing strictly cornerback."

"After that LaPorte game our whole defense let down, because we gave up 28 points. We need to re-focus and get ready for our next game. We are much better than that.

"I had three tackles against LaPorte. Teams aren't throwing my way, so I don't have any interceptions at this point. I play on punt returns and kickoff coverage. I am doing well in both areas and grade out pretty high. I have graded out high at cornerback as well.

"I am still interested in Oklahoma, LSU and Texas A&M, and they are my three top schools right now. All three have offered me. Right now I am leaning to Oklahoma, because the coaches are real cool and they care about me.

"They are always checking on me and asking me how my grades are and you can tell they care about me as a person. So, far Oklahoma is my favorite school. I watched OU and Kansas State on television and that was a great game. I watch the game as a fan, but I have to admit I watch the secondary a lot as well. I have been a fan of OU since I was little, so I was rooting for them as well. I have liked them for the last two years."
