Recruiting: Flood plans on attending OU-Texas

Kimball defensive end/linebacker Kevin Flood is no longer committed to West Virginia

JH: How is your season going?

KF: We are currently 2-2 on the season. We have been playing pretty well off and on. We have a lot of potential, but haven't put everything together. We need to release that potential and get everything together. I am doing OK, but there is always room for improvement. I am playing mostly defense, but most colleges are recruiting me as an outside linebacker. I don't know what my stats are exactly, but I know I have eight sacks and I know I had 13 tackles in my last game. I have two hurries and one blocked pass.

JH: Is recruiting heating up for you?

KF: I am hearing from a lot of schools in recruiting. Right now I really like Florida, Georgia Tech and West Virginia, and all three of those schools have offered me. I am still interested in Oklahoma and I am going to watch them play Saturday in the Cotton Bowl. I am really going to watch Oklahoma. Oklahoma hasn't offered me yet and if they do they will be solidly in the picture. I committed to West Virginia back in the summer and even though I have backed off of that I still like them a lot. Florida is a great school and I really look forward to looking at their program to really see what makes it so great."

JH: Have you set any visits at this time?

I have set a visit to Georgia Tech on Dec 15. I also plan to visit Florida and West Virginia for sure. I am not quite sure about the other two.
